Our Story

In the heart of Stover, Missouri, there stands an aged and weather-beaten barn, its once vibrant red paint now faded to a muted shade. It is within this rustic structure that the entrepreneurial journey of "The Phantom" began. Inside the barn, where the air was thick with the scent of aged wood and dusty sunlight that filtered through the cracks, laid a phantom figure of an old copper still. This relic from a bygone era carries the marks of time, each tarnished spot telling stories of spirits distilled long ago. With a touch of human ingenuity, the phantom still was revived, creating the Phantom V Distilling Company.

The tale of The Phantom is woven with the stories of its five partners, each bringing their unique skills and passions to The Phantom. Mike Hammerly, the innovator, had a knack for winemaking and a mechanical mind that proved invaluable in restoring the old still. Chris Groves, the engineer, joined forces with Hammerly to create a still that would cater to the most refined tastes. They had faith in the team's ability to craft a top-notch distilled product. Many late-night gatherings in Brookshier's workshop strengthened their dedication, resulting in a well-thought-out business strategy.

Brought together by their enthusiasm and common objective, the five partners and The Phantom persist in propelling progress and creativity in their distillery. Their path is marked by devotion, teamwork, and an unwavering quest for perfection.
